1. Simplicity is good. 2. Conveying your companies ability to manage the project is critical to winning a contract 3. With Request for Proposals, the lowest bid doesn't always win. Companies past experience and reliability is important. 4. Pictures are worth a thousand words. Graphs can be extremely helpful in ideas and data. 5. Describe how you plan to complete the project successfully 6. Talk about the risk involved in the delivery of services. This helps you and your proposal to be seen as reliable and dependable. 7. Pay special attention to specific instructions to bidders on how to prepare their proposals and what it must include. Each proposal is evaluated by the Project Manager or Request for Proposal Officer. Half the battle is won when the RFP instructions have been followed. This would include a neat, well organized, correctly spelled and correctly assembled document. |
